APTM specialises in providing appearance grade products for internal and external applications, high-grade mouldings and square dressed finished timbers for use in new homes, renovation work and for commercial projects. APTM is also a major supplier in the engineered wood products industry.

Established in 1986, APTM is a leader in the Australian wholesale timber market. The company’s consistent growth and resilience over the past 20 years has made it a reliable and trusted supplier in what has sometimes been a turbulent trading environment.

With over 30 highly motivated staff spread across the east coast of Australia, APTM holds in excess of $6 million of product under 15,000m2 of warehouse space, turning over in excess of 40,000m3 in a variety of timber products annually.

APTM has developed strong business relationships with its customers and suppliers over the years, whose loyalty and support sets APTM apart in the wholesale arena.

Environmental responsibility is a key focus of APTM and our purchasing policy reflects this. We recognise our environmental responsibility and as such have a puchasing policy that reflects this. Our softwood (pine) products are all plantation based; while our hardwoods are obtained only from suppliers who expressly source their material from forests operated under sound, sustainable and legal logging practices - both locally and abroad. We are working with our suppliers in an effort to only deal in certified product.

APTM’s broad customer base includes timber and hardware merchants, truss and frame plants, window manufacturers, furniture and joinery manufacturers as well as specialty moulding producers from Cairns to the Victorian border and west to Mt Isa.
